Matts off again

Looks like Turners off with the severns again , I hope Tom Arscotts injury is not long term as he is one of our wing replacements, why do we never seem to be getting our share of the wages we pay him

Completely agree 100% with you Sidders, what use is he to us for only the one game a season. There something very wrong going on here. (Sm102)

How many games has he played for us this year?

How many games has he played for the 7s this year?

How much of his wages are we paying (percentage)?

What's the point in having all these 7s competitions. Are they any use. Is anyone interested.

Rinkadink; I was just thinking the same thing. Be interesting if any stat-heads know how many games he'd played for Bristol.

I personally think he's been a shambolic signing!

I seem to remember the count as being around two maybe but no more than three (not all full) games a season. So no way is he any where near value for money, in my eyes. Meaning we should be looking to find another player who will be more beneficial to the club

In a presentation earlier in the season when asked why Matt Turner did not feature in the matchday team/squad more often did Paul Hull not say"because I don't select him"Unless I dreamt it which I don't think I did there might be the answer?

If that is the case then why is he still at the club? For what good is a player if the coach doe's not see fit to select him, stranger and stranger. (Sm105)

Perhaps at the next meeting Paul Hull may need to think of a better reply, for I feel sure this matter is not going away.(Sm145)

Surplus to requirements.

I realise that we are only paying a proportion of his wages. I don't know what % we are stumping up but whatever it is its too much.

Its a real shame because from what I've seen he clearly has so much potential. I know the 7s circuit is a real jamboree and probably a right hoot but you'd think a player like this would want to stamp his mark on the 15 a side game where the money is so much better and offers more longevity and ultimately more stability. I'm sounding like a boring old fart now I'd better go.

Bedford also have a player who plays 7's, signed from Birmingham when they went into financial trouble, he has played 5 out of the 17 possible games.

Exeter had a couple of 7's regulars last year and they ended up releasing them at the end of the season, I think as there was little point having them if they are not around.
