Yep, the semi-finals this year are two legs. The only benefit to topping the playoff group is that you play the second place team (deemed to be the weaker team) from the other playoff group.
Am I right in thinking that, of the two teams that reach the playoff final, it's the team that finished higher in the regular league table (Stage 1 of the season) that chooses which leg to play at home and which leg to play away? If I'm wrong, does anyone know how it does get decided? I know we got to make the decision a couple of years ago when we played Exe in the final, but I can't remember why.
