After all this messing around with clubs starting legal proceedings against the system they wanted, voted for and got, I'm starting to think it's certainly got a lot going for it.

So as there were 14 clubs in the old National Division 1, and 6 voted for the RFU's plan,it's clear that the majority (8) voted against....unless a lot of them abstained, of course.
The sick thing is that the quality of rugby played in the Championship is improving vastly year on year, yet clubs are not being properly supportd/nurtured by the RFU. Hey, whose surprided, though, really??
And as for LW nominating Newbury as an alternative ground: I went there for Bristol's pre-season match a few years ago. It's worse than Old Deer Park!
