Bristol Rugby are delighted to confirm that Ollie Dawe has committed his future to the club until 2020.
The highly rated 20 year-old prop – who represented England U20s at the 2017 Junior World Championship – graduates from the Bristol Rugby Academy to sign his first senior contract with a two year deal.

Totally agree. Ollie must have been sitting on the bench thinking what an opportunity there is now. I hope he gets some good game time once the Ealing game is out of the way. We have had too many young props in the past who have had to go elsewhere for the game time they deserve and need.

Brilliant news! I was worried that he might have seen the scrum going backwards yesterday and decided he could get better coaching elsewhere. After yesterday I hope that those that doubted the need for John Afoa have had a change of heart.

Ollie could come up against Will Davis in the Ealing game that will prove a good test for him

Need to give him game time now. Stick him on the bench for Ealing and give him a chance to show what he can do.

Hmm, they stuck him on the bench on Sunday and there he stayed. Perhaps he’d have had some game time if the front five weren’t in such a shambles on the day. OK, he’s not yet 20, so I can understand the coaching staff looking out for him, but if not vs Ealing he’s deserving of time in every match after that.

Interesting one about Will Davis, I always like him when he was with us. Great in the loose but as a young man he seemed to struggled in the scrum, but he looked a totally different player this season at AG, not just hair length. (Sm100)

Great news for Ollie, probably one of the best young props I had ever seen at Albion.
Certainly one for the future.

I think you have left that a bit unclear as to who you are talking about. Will Davis is off to Saints, Ollie Dawe has re-signed with us.
