dont see how they could possibly know this as the football fixtures have not been announced yet and they always get priority in a ground share situation like ours .

It didn't state which day it would be played, just that the season opener was at home to Hartpury - so it could be played Friday, Saturday or Sunday to meet football fixture demands.

It's s**t that we've been relegated. It's s**t that we're in this situation.
I am, however, really looking forward to the away days to some brilliant rugby clubs with proper fans.
Look on the bright side, say I!

when are the fixtures announced

Tom Tainton says "...fixture weekends and opposition announced on Friday. Specific dates and KO's in due course"

SP, isn't that what we did to the Pirates when they were first promoted to the second tier, I think it was when we were relegated at the end of the MP era. As I remember it we had a great weekend down there and sneaked a win in their first game at that level.

I can't find the confirmed fixtures anywhere online. Is the Jersey date a definite ? I am hoping not as this is the end of the school half term week and we will be away with the kids!
