I saw a fair bit of the Irish match - no quarter given by either side. Bristol 7 (Mallory) very good as was the 9 and Miller on wing (sister of the ex Ireland back row guy?)

Really enjoyed watching the England v Spain and Ireland v Australia games. the England girls will need to cut out the errors if they come up against NZ Aus or Ireland in the later stages as they all looked dangerous. Canada knocked up a huge score (98 : 0 against HK so could be dangerous too. Great to hear Bristol and the Bristol players mentioned so often. Let's hope the men's game can follow soon. Well done girls keep it going :-))

My glass is again full now bring on the rugby.

Yes - I thought that both Ireland and Australia looked pretty fearsome - better than England although difficult to judge - different matches and very different quality levels of opposition.

England v USA. I suspect USA will be the first real test for England.

Yes! Only saw the first half but it was like watching their men's team in the 70s. Beautiful passing, speed, panache. Molloy and Murphy immense for Ireland

This would have made a great final. I think England should shade it but it will be a bit of a car crash

France will use all the ball they get though, so should be some good attacking back play on show

Amen...but the English lasses are equally as adept. Should be a corker. Bets now on how early Marlie gets yellow?

Sorry Bod I interpreted your 'car crash' as if to say it will be a case of England trying to bash through France all game. Wrong interpretation clearly.

Watching the semi now,,,France have come on leaps and bounds over the years.
I was at the first ever women's World Cup in Cardiff in 1991,, with most of the Clifton ladies team,,as Sarah wenn, from Clifton was playing for England.
P.s,,,England lost to the USA,,that day.
