Great result for Richmond. Amateur model seems to work for them

So did staying up last year despite finishing bottom to get used to the step up from 3rd tier.

Definitely growing.

Had hopes a one point that Carnegie might deny Ealing a BP, but comfortably got it in the end. We are substantially ahead on points scored/conceded so a bit of a cushion, but looks as if Ealing will make it uncomfortable.

There certainly isn't any room for slip ups against any of the others and we need to keep on getting the try bonus points to maintain the depth of the cushion.

Interestingly(?!) we have both played 5 home games and 3 away games.

At home we have played Ealing, Hartpury, Richmond, Scottish and Rotherham
Ealing have played Leeds, Jersey, Scottish, Bedford and Pirates

Our away games have all been tough ones: Jersey, Bedford and Pirates - I'm glad these 3 are out of the way!).
Theirs are: us, Richmond and Rotherham.

Not sure what this means, but I thought I would post in anyway!

Interesting.

IMO Ealing are very comfortable playing on their artificial pitch - the confidence ut gives them gives a big home advantage. I think they're less comfortable playing away and, on paper, they have tougher teams to play away than we do. Here's hoping, anyway.

Their away match at Pirates could be one where will falter as Pirates only lost by one point in London. A wet and windy day in Cornwall could work wonders for us?
