Who do we think/hope for?

I'm hoping max Crumpton will be 're signing. He has all the qualities to go as far as he wants in the game.

Ryan Bevington would also be a very good 're signing.

I'm hoping for Searle to be honest, first pro contract. Fingers crossed.

Rory Murray (Head of Medical) has resigned. I think this unifies the club, making everyone (medical, fitness, cleaner etc) feel part of the tran/bigger plan.

Tis all good

to be clear Rory Murray has re signed i.e. extended his contract , not resigned i.e. quit .

That threw me a little bit....

Hoping for Searle, or an outside bet of Luatua extending his contract really early (Sm100)

Not tongue in cheek at all

It throws some of the rumours that we are hearing into touch.

Both good re signings in my view.

Tuvs, despite what some may think is a quality player, I still think his best performances when he was younger was at full back. He’s one of our Academy boys and will develop even further under the current regime.

Will Hurrel is a good Centre, he was one of our best players last year, his turnover stats were incredible, one of the best in the Prem. Again I can see him developing his offloading and decision making under the current regime.

Good news with more to follow methinks.

Well done both.

Tuvs must have re-signed very cheap. Don't rate him at Prem level at all.

Squad players to come in when starting XV are injured, surprised at Tuvs getting a renewal, with these two signed I suspect 2CPC will be going to be replaced by a younger player of international standard.

Totally agree TG. I think this says an awful lot about the new environment Pat Lam has introduced where those who are good team players and willing to work and learn will get on. Both are clearly signed up to improving their game and have every chance of getting a good crack in the Prem. Best of luck to both.

TG and Simon have hit the nail on the head.

from the offy

Quote:
“Jack and Will are great team men and we’re excited to have the opportunity to continue their development and help them reach their goals.

shows where PL thinks they currently are

Quote:
“Jack [Tovey] is a Bristolian who has been through the highs and lows with this club and he wears the badge with pride. His versatility is a big asset for us and the coaching team believe he is capable of taking his game to another level."
“Will [Hurrell] is an abrasive ball carrier and showed what an asset he can be in the top flight. He’s working hard to grow his game and develop into the type of centre we need at the club."

Shows that the coaching staff think they have what it takes to develop themselves to fit into the vision.

Surprised at Tovey - thought he was badly shown up in almost every game he played in last time round in the Prem.
