To Dragons, next season.

Really hoped we could've kept him.

Best of luck

Fair play to him. Don't begrudge any of the trio heading back in order to play for their country. Wish him every success there.

We are at the end of an era of Welsh talent coming our way, driven by Sean Holley and others. Their policy of having to play within Wales to get selection, with minor exceptions, combined with our drive to build a strong squad with England aspirations, will see to that. Probably for the best, but I for one have really enjoyed watching them with Gav at the top, but the 2 Williams this year have played a huge part in us being where we are.
Best of luck to all of them.

He has shown what a good scrummager he is,and has been missed when not playing.
He will be a big loss for us, but wish him all the very best for the future....

All the very best to him Sadly we wonít be the only club saying goodbye to their Welsh players. Question is will they also close the door to promising young welsh players as they will not be able to hold on to those with National ambitions? That would be a shame.

Bristol, like the glass is Blue, Bristol Blue.

Will be interested to see if many academy guys from Wales with ourselves and Glos end up playing for Eng U20s then deciding their nationality later on when they aren't tied to Wales. I think Sheedy turned down the Wales U20s to keep his options open and Swansea-born Protheroe played England U20s. Moriaty being another Eng U20 cap who then decided to play for Wales later on,

Thatís another point regarding academyís, arenít they part funded by the rfu if so I canít see them being happy developing ďforeignĒ players.

Given their backrow options at present I shouldn't think they'd be interested for some time.

Busy week of signing according to BP

The BP is calling them 'squad players'.... so likely it's the Championship contingent as speculated on here,

Josh Adams from Wuss to Dragons in all possibility subject to suitable compensation being agreed for the final year of his contract.
I think that it may make if more difficult for young Welsh players to come to the AP to develop their game only to be enticed back when clubs have spent a small fortune on turning their fitness and careers around.Adams coun't get a look in at Scarlets when he moved to the Wuss academy.

But he couldn't get a look in there in part because, at the time, they had the likes of Steff Evans, TDH Van de Merwe and Jordan Williams competing with him and others for wing. I'm not sure (though could be wrong) Worcester did anything other than give him more first team action.

You cannot be captured at U20 level any more. World Rugby changed the regs from this year.
