Nothing mentioned in this article about our training facilities, but I assume they're on the same site? Not good news.

I think our facilities are separate to City’s AGS so no issues for us. Our plans have been granted as far as I’m aware and contractors are tendering for the work.
I’m sure City will get over what seems some minor issues and have their state of the art facilities too. I’m pretty sure there will be some cross usage so in our interests City get building too.

The rugby club are building on Beggar Bush Lane, the football club are on the Clevedon Road. Close to each other, but not the same site.

If you know your school grounds up there, the rugby club are opposite Cathedral School's site, the football club are opposite BGS, next to QEH sites.

If you know your golf courses, the rugby club are near-ish (same side of the road) to Bristol and Clifton GC, the football club are next to Long Ashton GC.

The club posted some drone footage on Twitter earlier this week - a fly around the site, which was about a minute long. The plot looks quite sizable but is effectively agricultural land still. From memory, the message at the end was 'coming soon', or something like that, which I take to mean the diggers are about to roll and it's going to happen.

Planning granted on ours quite a while ago because basically we took over an existing scheme that already had permission and our plans were actually less intrusive than the orignal ones.
