We can't win with the BBC, Piutau & Afoa both listed with their previous clubs & Rhodri with his new club, hey ho. Perhaps we'll be listed with a blank space when the results are reported next season?

Forwards: John Afoa (Gloucester & New Zealand), Ultan Dillane (Connacht & Ireland), Ramiro Herrera (Stade Francais & Argentina), Benjamin Kayser (Clermont & France), Tatafu Polota-Nau (Leicester & Australia), Sateki Timani (Clermont & Australia), Justin Tipuric (Ospreys & Wales), Loni Uhila (Clermont), Flip van der Merwe (Clermont & South Africa), Victor Vito (La Rochelle & New Zealand)

From memory they usually start in June so Rhodri is Bristol and Afoa/Piutau are not yet

Rhodri will be wearing the Bristol Socks smiling smiley

Chris Ashton now announced, I think the Ba Bas will turn England over.

It's good to see that the Ba Bas may not be such a Southern Hemisphere all stars team this year.

Not sure if Piutau will be playing for the Ba Baas. He pulled out injured in the warm up yesterday.

Looks like he's definitely out with a strained achilles. Hope it's not too bad. Gutted - I'm going up to HQ and was hoping to see him in the flesh for the first time.

Other Baa Baa updates from the Beeb:

Ireland centre Bundee Aki - who was due to captain the Barbarians side - has been ruled out with an ankle injury while former New Zelanad player Charles Piutau is sidelined after suffering an Achilles tendon strain and Sale fly-half AJ MacGinty has been withdrawn by his club.

Coach Pat Lam has added Scotland fly-half Finn Russell, New Zealand centre Malakai Fekitoa, Newcastle and Fiji centre Josh Matavesi, his Falcons colleague - flanker Nili Latu - and Connacht prop Denis Buckley to his squad.

The AJ one is odd, why did Sale not allow him to play?

Guessing Diamond has taken a dislike to PL, given his recent comments about how Piutau's inflated salary is ruining the English game. This is him trying to get his own back, in a Diamond like way.

I have to say that I believe Jason is here to make a good living as a professional rugby player (rather than any love for England and thinking he wants to spend his life here) and the fact he has an English grandmother should not be sufficient to play for England. We are the biggest rugby playing nation there is and should have to make do with what we've got and if that means Brown instead of a better Woodward then so be it.

If we picked the best English qualified players (using grandparents and the soon to gone 3 year rule) we could potentially pick a side where most speak with a kiwi, south African or Welsh accent and I don't thing that is good for the credibility of the England team or international rugby. I'm in NO way a nationalist but I do have a concern for the credibility and soul of international rugby + it doesn't need to become like international rugby league where there is a desperate attempt to fashion enough so called international teams to make a big enough world cup
