Have to say I am disappointed we are scheduled to be part of 'The Clash'. One of my favourite away days is going to the Rec, being able to hop on a train 10mins down the road and get back fairly easily. Now, ridiculously, two Cities just 10 miles apart are going to have to travel to London to play each other.
The double-header atmosphere was not great (as has been said on here before) and I'd prefer to leave Twickenham matches for cup finals.
I also wonder what would happen if all 12 prem clubs decided, for financial reasons, that they wanted games at Twickenham. Would all 12 be allowed? How would they decide if not? I'm not sure any club should get a windfall from the use of a national asset.
Other than that, excited about the fixtures, especially first up!!
I'm diametrically opposed to the OP
as I'm over the moon we don't have to go that dump, my least favourite away trip, despite it being the easiest.
wasn't going to go, but as it's now at a different ground I'm well up for it
Yes : sorry - hadn't got beyond the first 3 fixtures.
Im ok with twickers for the away match as we'd probably be struggling with buying a ticket fo the Rec given the limited capacity & my experiences of the venue have not been good ones with the queues for sustenance & toilets.
I think a run up on the supporters club coach might be the thing to do.

Why would anyone want to go to that dump over Twickenham
I said years ago I'd not go to that place ever again
This year I'll go to my first B### away game for years
Well if i have to watch rugby sat next to a braying bellend in a tweed jacket, I would rather not be rained on at the same time - so a thumbs up from me.
Rinkadink I never go to the wreck as I don't want to fill their coffers in any way; plus the above.
Might go to the cabbage patch though, never been before.
The Cabbage Patch hasn’t been a good venue for many years imo. I’ll continue my recent ‘tradition’of stepping off the train a stop early, having a few beers and an Italian, then a (slightly longer) stroll to HQ rather than across the road to the Richmond Athletic Ground.
Barmy Arms is my favourite pub in Twickenham if the weather is nice. It’s right on the river and you’re not crammed in like sardines like at the cabbage patch.
