I'll guess at either re-signing Luatua or Smith staying on.

Probably Smith staying.

Good news but would have preferred Luatua re-signing.

Perhaps he's waiting to see if we are "safe" or not? Go well after this break from the premiership and I think we will look to re-sign and strengthen. Failure to get back into winning ways and decent form will be pretty catastrophic IMO, arguably the most important part of the season is upon us (though of course, all of it is significant).

Think Luatua will stay personally. Said he wanted to in a recent interview. Quite a few coming to end of contract that I imagine might be let go however.

if anyone could produce a list of those out of contract at the end of season that would make for very interesting reading for me at work.

Great news re smith. I don;t think we'll ever get a good idea of how much he is bringing to the squad as i'm sure his positive contributions off the pitch far out weigh his positive contribution on the pitch (which themselves are pretty good)

Off the top of my head; Crane, Lam, Morahan, Leiua, Edwards, NFW, Pisi, S. Piutau, Faletau, Cosgrove, Latta, Batley, Vui, Haining, Tovey, Hurrell, Bedlow, Ehziozde, Luatua, Smith, Cullen. Possibly more including senior academy that I'm not sure of.

Bloody hell, we're in trouble if that lot don't re-sign

New contracts and new commitments will come with Premiership security - we had a similar exodus when we were relegated last time round IIRC.

Morohan in last Sundays Rugby Paper said he had another year after this one on his contract.

Ah fair enough. Had thought it was only Madigan that signed for 3 years of last year's recruits.
