I had a chat with The Man From Uncle, at Heywood Road, last night.
Well, OK, The Man From Auntie (and if that makes sense to you then you're older than you admit) and he was telling me that BBC Radio Manchester carry an on-line commentary from every home game. Indeed, I had heard this from large and Swanny in the past but, alas, I have repeatedly failed to find the link and eventually stopped looking. If it appears on the BBC Rugby Commentaries
summary page then I list it, but if it isn't there I [personally] can't find it.
At a slight tangent, before we begin; In the TV programme NCIS, one of the team once asked Gibbs "What did Ducky look like when he was younger?" and the answer came "Exactly like Illya Kuryakin
" - and if you understand that then you must be as old as me!
But I digress.
The Man From Auntie has undertaken to have a word, on our behalf, with those in the know and get back to me with information as to where I can find the home game link and I shall be happy to include that in the weekly(ish) round up in future.

Internet radio users will need the following URL in their favourites remembering, as ever, to remove the space between the colon and slashes ...

- Sale Sharks Official feed.
- Mick Collins.
- Roger Bowen.
I'm not sure of MickTheMove or Roger_Bowen do match commentaries but, as no-one has ever told me whether they do or not I've left them there just in case.
And now into areas where I do not venture:
: Sale Sharks' official Facebook pages
And The Iffy, but I'm never sure whether they do anything these days and i have been unable to find out - sorry. Sayings involving hiding, light, under and bushel spring to mind again.
The Iffy 1
: Where John Everton
is hopefully providing news updates throughout the evening.
The Iffy 2
: Stephen Thomas
may be posting website updates.
