On Air:
The game is on BBC Radio Gloucestershire between 2:30pm and 5:30pm. They broadcast on 95.0FM (Stroud), 95.8FM (Cirencester), 104.7FM (Gloucester, Cheltenham & Tewkesbury), 1413AM (Cotswold & Forest of Dean), DAB and Freeview 735 (in the area) and other TV channels. It is not on air on BBC Radio Manchester.
Internet radio, iPhones, iPads, tablets, smartphones, etc:
BBC Radio Gloucestershire will be on their normal on-line stream.
The BBC Live Event streams will carry an on-line stream, but just which number carries which is anyone's guess so you'll just have to cycle through them all (1 to 18 I think) to find the right one(s).
As not one single person for the whole of the last season suggested how to find the Live Event number I am unable to advise.
The BBC Sports app has been recommended but I find the Ultimate Rugby site (Update 5) a better bet for those occasions when video and audio sources may be inappropriate or catch the attention of The Boss! Each to their own, of course, and you may think differently.
To listen on mobile devices (when there's a commentary) I recommend the free
TuneIn Radio app, available for most devices and platforms. Personally, I use the paid for Pro version at £0.69 which gives much more flexibility and is much better for the serious radio listener.
To access Flash streams on an Apple iOS device, I recommend the
Photon app for £2.99. It takes a little getting used to (you have to "enable" Flash by clicking the lightning bolt symbol when you need it as the default is no Flash) but, in my experience, it works better than other alleged Flash browsers.
The website and app
Ultimate Rugby is a very good source and I recommend that as well for all rugby updates, news and information. If you have iOS7.n and later you can get it to appear in your Notification Centre.
TV & Video
The Game is not on TV.
Last term the following link was recommended. I know nothing of it but iot may be worth a try. If you use it, or have ever used it, then please let me know if it works and if it is legitimate. Caveat Emptor.
Video 1: Rugby Live Stream
Video 2: bet365.com. As far as I can tell, you can open an account with as little as £5.00 (thanks DS) but do not have to gamble with it. That initial deposit appears to give you access to on-line streaming (in a smallish window) of many games in many sports. The schedule can be found
here. It's a Flash site - why not HTML?
Video 3: BetFair - I have no idea how the site works as far as video is concerned.
Live updates:
Update 1: BBC Rugby Live Scores
Update 2:
Planet Rugby. A link should appear on that page closer to kick off.
Update 3:
SKY Sports Score Centre.
Update 4:

Social media:
Not all of these may be at the match and the excellent Neil Leigh has sadly now left the MEN but, if he's at the match, our own Northern Sharks' feeds are the ones to follow as first preference:
Social 1: Northern Shark's The Shark Tank
Social 2: @SaleSharksRugby -Twitter.
Social 3: @SaleRugbyNews - Sale Sharks Fans Twitter
Social 4: BBC Radio Manchester - Twitter,
Social 5: Sale FaceBook
Social 6:Twatter Hashtag #strengthinunion - I still have no idea what a hashtag means or what it is supposed to do, or indeed if it works for those who do know, but for what it's worth I'll leave it in.
The Iffy
The Iffy 1: The Iffy live updates
The Iffy 2: Match report only. Compare, contrast and discuss the similarity, or otherwise, with the Unoffy reports prepared by various Learned Scribes and Scholars!
E&OE, Caveat Emptor etc etc
No matter what you say, or how you say it, someone somewhere will deliberately go out of their way to be offended.
