Crusaders just put 50+ points on the Stormers as well

The Lions really have got the toughest tour ever coming up.

Anyone else thinking Beauden Barret is looking even more talented than DC!
(Dan Carter for the avoidance of confusion with any other player)

Interesting comment ashtonshark: I don't think the Lions will particularly fear either the Stormers or the Brumbies! Far closer competitive games with very few defensive errors or weaknesses would have been far more concerning!(Sm100)

IMHO 10 games is a doddle compared with the 26 endured by the '71 Lions. That was a far more attritional tour. However they will certainly need to hit the ground running with little time for the test team to click!

Agree re Barrett. Just awesome. Little bro (who's a lot bigger) looks pretty handy at 15 too. Looked good in in U20 RWC last year as well

You've completely lost me on Stormers/Bumbies comment

Well from what iv'e seen the Aussie SR teams can't defend very well and are equivocal to bottom 50% of Pro12/Aviva. NZ sides are a bit like the top sides like sarries or leinster

Quite, a team always tends to look better than it is, playing against pretty weak defense.

Hard fought victories more like that of Munster/Sarries might have concerned the Lions management more. Both teams showing incredibly good defensive structure.
