Stan Smith
It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of Stan Smith (affectionately known to many of his friends as ‘Santa Stan').
Stan passed peacefully away in hospital on 23rd December after a short illness.
Stan was Vice Chairman of Sale Sharks Supporters Club and a life long member and supporter of Sale FC, Sale Sharks and Sale Cricket Club.
Our heartfelt thoughts and sympathy are with his wife Sandra and family at this difficult time. He will be sadly missed by all his friends
Funeral will be held at Macclesfield crematorium on Thursday, 11th January at 10am.
Update:
Sandra has indicated that her family would prefer donations to East Cheshire Hospice rather than flowers.

Sandra invites all Stan's friends to 'The Weaver', Thornton Square, Macclesfield SK11 7XZ after the funeral to celebrate Stan's life. All are welcome.

Unfortunately I am unable to attend either the Funeral or the Celebration of Stan's Life afterwards, but my thoughts will be with him, Sandra, Family and Friends.
