Good news for him and for Sale. Funny that we have hardly used him...

It'll be to make up numbers for the Georgia session, however it's great to see him on the radar.

Confusing wording on the RFU page: "...this weeks's training camp in London beginning on Monday." It's dated 12th Feb. and it's Monday today, so do they mean today or next Monday?

He's 19 and played for us 5 times. Considering we have some really top drawer back rowers in the squad I think that's pretty decent

Yes it would have been nice to have seen more of him (no pun intended). Hopefully next year will be his breakthrough proper so we donít have to use Ross at 8.

Definitely agree with that. Good to see that he's highly rated

Being cynical, is this to claim him for England rather than Wales? Seems a little early for him, even for a great prospect.

If I were Eddie Jones I'd have taken him to Rome and put him on as a finisher.

Of course heís too early but Eddie likes his promising young players in occasional squads to take a look at them. Redpath may be in one soon.

There seems to be a paucity of out and out England qualified No 8s too.

The point is the Saxons don't have any fixtures.

Since about 1066 when the last Anglo Saxon king died at the battle of Hastings

Ther seemed to be a good 'reserve team' competition a few years ago but I presume the Premier League felt it was losing too many players over the international weekends. Making it U20s seemed logical, burn there doesn't seem to be uniformity as to what constitutes a player being tied to that country.
