one thing I would note re WGJ is how solid his tackling / hits are when he is defending round the ruck. there were a couple of tackles in the saints game near our line where he stuffed the ball carrier. his work rate combined with his strength when defending for a tight head prop is great to see.

also good to see (whilst he is not in the team of the week) Yarde putting in some good performances vs saints and bath. in the games he has played since his move I think, bar the errors in the sarries game, he has performed well (and also seems to have integrated pretty well into the squad looking at his interactions with the players). hopeful he can kick on further next season after a good off season conditioning programme.

Agree totally re WGJ. I think he has really settled in well and his game has improved markedly over the course of the season. I doubt he will ever be a real eye-catcher in the way that Cole or Aulika are with their skills at the breakdown in particular. However he is solid, dependable and rarely makes a mistake

WRT Yarde integrating, I didnt particularly notice but was Denny one of the first to congratulate him when he scored on Saturday? And vice versa.......!

WGJ's defence really is something to behold - as mentioned above he really smashes players back in a big way.

He's also built like an absolute brick shithouse. I know props are generally the biggest guys on the pitch but he just looks huge - and not in an Eifion Lewis Roberts way.

Definitely the find of the season.

Hard not to agree with comments for WGJ, he has an excellent shape!

In terms of Cole, is it just me who thinks he's still trading off a very old reputation?? I know he used to be like another back row at the breakdown but I haven't seen any evidence of it for some time.

Pretty difficult this season with the bizarre back row balance often selected for Leicester. Plus Aulika has taken over the mantle and with far better hair

Think he desperately needs some time off.
Been absolutely beasted by Tigers and England for years, playing 70-80 mins week in week out in a very attritional position
