Hi fellow rugby fans, I am currently conducting a study for my Masters in Sport & Exercise psychology thesis on perceptions of cheating in rugby (our beautiful game) from fans and players perspectives. If you have a spare ten minutes It would be a great help if you could fill in the questionnaire (link below), likewise if you know anyone who could take part please feel free to share it with them. Thanks in advance!

ThAt was fun. Though you may want to re word the 4th question as itís not clear what you mean by hit. I assumed you meant took the player out in the air.

Agree - in 2 of those questions, it could well be an accident. For instance in the 2nd one, the defending player could well have gone to tackle before the ball was kicked through, in which case, no foul if he'd committed. If the ball has already been kicked through and the defender knowingly tackles him without the ball - definitely foul play!

May be worth specifying a couple of these...

I assumed that all the acts were deliberate. Is that correct CookiePROP?

Not my interpretation. Just rugby incidents bar the play acting.
