Who doesnít challenge kicks. I get the logic to avoid yellow cards but the opposition is allowed an unopposed challenge. If all other teams challenge and we donít Iím beginning to think we are wrong. Itís been the same the last few years.

Got to agree with you. And instead Sam J got penalised for wrapping in the air when if heíd tried for the ball itíd have been a fair contest. I donít understand the constant non-competing either.

Possibly it's all part of not wanting players to get themselves injured 'unnecessarily'.

Our tiny senior squad of 29 has 7 players injured, suspended, on international duty or playing for sale fc. Can't have any more absentees as we couldn't pick up any medical jokers in the past 4 weeks for some unknown reason!

Yes it does, Dimes was trialling it for this season. He wanted to be fully prepared.

Iíve never seen anyone injured jumping for their own teams kick. It happens when taken out in the air which happens when the opposition catches the ball.
