Falcons fan here

good article

and yes - skip the Yarde injury as it was horrible and no one should have to watch that never mind endure it.

I hope Marlon comes back from that injury but boy was it nasty.

I actually enjoyed that first half, if only by closely watching Sam James to see how he performed at full-back. It was an absolute pleasure watching how often he entered the line to become a second playmaker. There were if you looked carefully a lot of chinks of light created in that first scoreless half hour form both the backs and the forwards. On another day one or two of them would have come to something fruitful, but I still feel that hard graft set things up nicely for the second half.
The greatest joy however was to see us play competitively for a full 80 minutes.

aidanb: Thanks for the kind comments. We all hope Marland makes a full and speedy recovery, too.

At least someone got it...

H's Dad: I haven't watched the full game video, so my comments about the first half are based solely on the fact that I could not remember a single thing about the first 30 minutes other than what I'd made a note of. It wasn't the lack of point scoring, just that I could not recall anything of significance when I sat down to write this screed. I dare say if I do watch the full replay, I would find more to write about.

I agree about the first half - we actually played some nice creative stuff, especially with Sam joining the line, but too many handling errors and good cover tackles.

I was going to say the same smiling smiley

Really enjoyed the commentator using the reference when Rohan scored too!

I'm tired of the offy media calling him "the beast", It's fairly unoriginal and Tendai Mtawarira is already ensconced with that title.
