On the Simon Orange podcast, he was pretty effusive in his praise of Dimes. Highlighted his track record on a very limited budget and that he expected Dimes to get a lot more acknowledgment once heís competing on a level playing field in terms of salaries.

Therefore, donít see any changes to the coaching set up on the horizon.

He also said that when he looked around there was nobody better. With huge amounts of respect to Dimes, Iíd say that Gatland has achieved a little more ... admittedly with bigger budgets.

Of course it would be in respect of who else was available at the time, with most top coaches not being available.

I donít know if Dimes is the top man for a team with a big budget yet, but the re-signing of Faf goes a long way to making me think he is.

Signing the right players yes. The question is from a coaching and game management point of view. We are spending big now. Diamond deserves a chance. Loved his descriptions of Diamond. Warm, but honest about his grumpy tendencies.

Would mean SD moving uopstairs and not running the team, I think he would find it hard to not interfere with things. I don't see Gatland taking too well to that.
