Congratulations to all involved!

Little surprised to not see Reed and Warr involved - maybe recalled for the prem cup game due to various winger injuries and call-ups, and giving Faf a rest?

Listening to Egg chasers podcast from a couple of weeks ago I think they mentioned that Luke hasn't even made the U'20's squad

Nope, Luke not in this 6N squad. Alex Shaw suggests its simply the depth in the centres that crowds him out despite his talent and experience.

At this moment in time Luke James is much better than Redpath, who is there. WTF is going on?

Is he? Weve not really seen Redpath. All we know is hes regarded as one in a generation talent.

Think we actually need to see redpath play in the first team to judge that. The suggestion this time last year was that redpath would feature a fair bit this year, until he got the ACL injury.

I don't wish to cast nasturtiums, and certainly not suggesting that this has happened. But, is it not possible that the club asked Luke to be available for first team fixtures during this period? As it turns out we have centres coming back from injury, but may not have been sure of that at the time. Surely a fairly convincing argument to be made that Luke's long term development would be better served by spending time with the first team squad, rather than playing age group rugby?

Of course it is just possible that the U20 selectors felt that those selected were a better fit for their squad than Luke.

Unhappiness, where's when I was young
And we didn't give a damn
'Cause we were raised
To see life as a fun and take it if we can

Thought Dolly was really good tonight,
Redpath made a noticeable impact from the bench as well, including a massive track back try saving tackle.

Reed should walk into this side, back three weren't good at all.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Wilkinson more involved, Marcus Smith got the shepherds crook a few a minutes after half time, after we gave up the lead
