Just seen an interview with Rohan on Twitter.

[twitter.com]

Looks like he starts on Sunday. He also lets slip that he will have 'Johnny' outside him.

He sounds desperate to get playing again and I have to say it will be fantastic to get him back on the pitch. Lets hope he stays injury-free for the 2nd half of the season and we see him at his best again. Really excited at the prospect of him in our full strength backline

Looks good to me - though I think Tom Curtis will be involved (based off social media) and I think Ben Currry will start and captain

Curtiss will be in the U18s I reckon. Iíd rest Curry myself given minutes played and his age but we are thin in the back row given the resting players. I would put Nott in if heís fit. 15 is a problem and I wonder if JOC might play there if fit.

Isnít ostrikov with Russia? We might see Evans get a start

Yes Iíd start Evans given lack of pitch time lately. Ben Curry too as heís mostly been on the bench.

Hopefully Warr gets a decent amount of mins.

Not sure about Luke at 15, he does simple things well at centre, but he had the poorest game Iíve seen at 15 in an earlier cup game. Given our centres are unlikely to last the match id have Luke on the bench (personally Iíd have started him with Leota on the bench) and perhaps Roebuck on the wing?

Yes Iíd go reed at full back and roebuck in the wing as well. Luke James understandably looked completely lost when he played 15. Heís done remarkably well to convert from 7 to centre so quickly, I think shoving him to full back is harsh

That makes sense, I didn't realise he was so young, I thought he was u20s age

I thought Roebuck would be U18s as well as heís only 17/18. 15 is an issue and I would have had Reed there if theee was another winger available (but I canít see one)!

Isn't Nathan Pope a full back? Think I remember him playing there for the Jets

There's also the possibility we'd be without one of Reed or Doherty if they with England as a travelling reserve

I guess Newcastle will be after using this period to get some wins and some confidence up ahead of the next bloke of Prem league games. Can't blame them really are they still bottom?

I think more importantly they need a 5 point win with I think 8/9+ points difference to confirm they are in next weeks quarter final so worth pushing for a win.

Still its a good chance for our guys to test themselves against a strong team.

I am hoping you will not let them beat you! especially with a bonus and 36 point margin as they would then overtake us and get the home semi final.
I suspect that is why they have a strong team out(Sm128)
