Sharks vs Wasps
Is anyone else waiting nervously for the result of the Stockport Sharks game this evening?

Yes

It’s a shame when you are willing another Northern team to lose, plus hoping for a Wasps win is a bit hard to take but needs must.

No.We have no control over what any other side does. Our future rests solely with our own team. It is my belief that the team will survive this year and be a force within the Premiership next year.

I'll say it again.

It is my belief that Sale will NOT be in the relegation mix come May. It is Worcester and Newcastle we are in the scrap with.

Sale are just as vunerable as any of the clubs in the bottom four, if they lose tonight then their confidence will be shot to pieces.

Re: Sharks vs Wasps
They do have a couple of plum home games but if they lose tonight without getting any points I agree with you Dragon. Trying to find a winner in the racing post, I notice we are still 6/4 favorites to go down.

Re: Sharks vs Wasps
Sale are deep in the mire, but tonight will tell us a lot. If they get any sort of win, even a scrappy one, then APB might be right. Anything less and they have to be close to favourites for the drop.

Feel a bit ashamed, but I'd like, selfishly, an 8-0 scoreline to Wasps.

Is it on the box?

Re: Sharks vs Wasps
I don't want to see Sale go down. Obviously I'd take them over us, but I'd prefer one of the other's to finish bottom to both of us.

So whilst not at the point of cheering 'Come on Sale!' yet, I'm hoping I can do that in a few weeks' time once we're comfortably clear smiling smiley

Still a Tyke - whatever the name!

Well done Sharks - they can beat Wuss and Falcons as well which will give them 35 points!

Good for Sale.

We just need to keep winning and stay up as a result of our own efforts.

Barring Tigers no one is that good in the league and no ones that bad.

(Sm123) Next weekend is crucial. We need to get something out of the game at Kingsholm whilst Falcons & Wuss get zip-all.

Re: Sharks vs Wasps
3 points seperate the 4 bottom clubs, we are in a better place than we were a month ago but my nerves are still shot to pieces. I think we are playing with more confidence than the other 3 and we have momentum but all that counts for nothing if we don't get something from the Glos game. You may not know this but my advisors tell me that if we were to get 5 points at Kingsholm then we would be level on points with Glos. Personally I'd settle for any points on Saturday.

Wuss will struggle to get anything off Tigers next week.

All 4 clubs at the bottom will struggle next week. However those that get lbp's will be 1 point better off than those that don't. (it's obvious, I know, but thought it ought to be said). We are all scrapping for scraps!

The melting pot is well and truly on the boil. Personaly I would prefer not to see any of the northern sides going down as there is already a disproportionate weighting in the Premirship towards southern clubs. Sorry Wuss!
