I see that statements from Ashton Gate that even relegation back to the Championship will not have a drastic affect on staff etc are starting to unravel.

Mr Henson has now announced his departure to the Dragons, who is next?

Well, they have signed Lam as DoR, and Madigan supposedly with no get out clause, so we'll watch with baited breath.

COME ON LEEDS.
We've been through it all together.

They have an owner that will tide them over. Will be interesting to see what happens if they yoyo a bit though.

apparantly, they are using next season to build for a sustained run at the Premiership, but I think I've heard that before. The gap between Premiership and Championship is now unbelievably wide, and it is going to take a lot of bridging.

COME ON LEEDS.
We've been through it all together.

We didn't offer him a contract as far as I'm aware. Madigan, sheedy and Searle leaves us well placed at 10 for next year. No one we sign from now on has a relegation clause as Pat Lam insisted everyone has to be committed or he doesn't want them. Biggest difference between championship and the prem has been in the forwards, if we can strengthen the tight 5 and keep Hurrell and Woodward it should be a good season. How has Steadman been playing for you this season? Thought he looked decent for donny against us last year. All the best for the rest of the season!

North needs success

With no play offs in the future a club of Bristol's financial clout can plan with massive confidence if they get relegated. If they have Pat lam as DOR they will walk it. If they still had Andy Robinson I wouldn't have been so sure.

The scrapping of play offs is made for Bristol and simply consigns us to the Champ for years to come in my opinion. Ringfenced Premiership is the answer to ensure a Yorkshire presence because, as we all know, the North Needs Success!!!

They will walk it if they come down. The championship is no preparation for the prem though.

Big signing - will get smaller when (if) he gets fitter!

When fit he might be ok. Back end like a cartoon horse at present.

Perhaps given a full pre-season he will be a different player, but he can't get in our starting 15 at present and has slipped off tackles, costing us tries.

Words from the Bristol chairman to try save his job by the sounds of it.
They will have a quality squad but the championship is no preparation for the prem. So you can still get caught out and make a slow start having walked the champ.
What he has not thought of is someone else but Irish going up. That could upset his apple cart.

You can tell he is hurting but you raise your game against better teams and subconsciously lower it over time playing not so good ones.
They were only missing 3 or 4 or was it 5 quality players......

I think Andy Robinson has a lot to answer for.
