I know that our squad is not entirely understood, but who would you expect to be our captain next season?
Ollie Stedman would be my choice.

I wasn't born in Yorkshire, but I got here as soon as I could

Richard Mayhew - had a great season last year, will definitely be a start in the back row. Really experience and from NZ he will demand high standards on the pitch !

Both of the above named would be good in the role. I would add Richard Beck to that group. Talented, good rugby brain and a local lad to boot.

Cant disagree with any of above,

i would go with Davies his vocal talents around breakdown have been whats needed but sometimes his over enthusiastic chats with "sir" didnt go unnoticed, maybe given skippers armband might just channel it just that little bit, plus he will probably start most games

would think Mayhew will get the nod however

Yep I thought of Davies as well. At least we seem spoilt for choice for captain even with such a small squad. (Sm134)

With all the experience in the squad I do not think that we will be short of leaders on the pitch.

Congrats to those posters above who obviously have better judgement than me! Richard Mayhew it is then, no complaints here and I am sure he will do a good job.

Great interview with Gareth. Probably will be less pressure on us overall. Need to be lucky with injuries this year that's for sure.
