Carnegie team for Sunday v Pirates

From Offie:

Yorkshire Carnegie Head Coach James Lowes has named an unchanged side for this Sunday’s re-arranged trip to Cornish Pirates in the Greene King IPA Championship.
The clash was originally scheduled for a fortnight ago but was postponed due to the pitch conditions at the Mennaye Field however Carnegie will now be looking to build on their hard earned win over Richmond last Sunday at Emerald Headingley.
Lowes has named an unchanged starting XV for the first time this season and there is only one enforced changed on the bench with James Thraves coming in for Charlie Beech, who is ruled out through concussion. Fred Burdon is also unavailable due to a head injury whilst full back Chris Elder will complete his three match suspension this week and will therefore miss the clash with the Pirates.
The team in full is:
15. Stevie McColl
14. George Watkins
13. Andy Forsyth
12. Tom Casson
11. Louis Brown
10. Pete Lucock
9. Alex Davies
1. Marc Thomas
2. Joe Buckle
3. Kevin Bryce
4. Jack Whetton
5. Mike Myerscough
6. Ben West
7. Richard Mayhew (c)
8. Richard Beck
16. Mike Mayhew
17. Charlie Capps
18. James Thraves
19. Matt Smith
20. Trystan Lloyd
21. Will Homer
22. Callum Irvine

So once again Pistol Pete has the honour of the 10 shirt.

Seems we are being mullered in the scrums.

Poor discipline and send offs tends to follow lapses in skill and performance? Identify the problems-sounds easy?......Take what we can from the remainder of season and be grateful for 'development opportunity' from stiff opposition coming up.....BUT.....What are we intending to do to rectify situation for next season?-6 months to think about it?

Irish coming down, Coventry coming up and Ealing continuing to spend big. Another consolidation year next year?

More pressing, three half time tries against our one is always going to cause a struggle (ask Eddie Jones) but three yellow cards is just nuts.

Hi Kev, seems like all three yellow cards were for the front row of the scrum? So without being there, I suspect our problem could be easy to identify, if not easy to fix.
