Style of play

We have a reputation, given the background of our Head Coach and our location, of playing Rugby League, ball-in-hand stuff, even from our own posts. Whilst great to watch when it works, I personally see this as a weakness. The opposition bring their wingers up much earlier than usual, knowing we are unlikely to kick and I certainly feel that we cannot achieve promotion without a more balanced game. Think All Blacks: they kick a lot but then attack when the circumstances are favourable.
Do we want promotion or to be entertained?
Can we do both?
Should we do more tactical kicking?
Do we need an established RU coach to promote the all-round game?

Answers on a postcard - I mean please post (positively if possible) below.

I don't think we play necessary play that was anymore as we don't have the midfield pace.
I would like to see a more rounded game whilst still playing attacking rugby. You buy players to match the game you want to play. So I guess we will find out in the summer.
A lot hinges around a quality 10. As many threads have discussed this has been a position woefully neglected by us for along time.
Will be see the coaches being added too as well?

WE could adopt the style that Scotland used against England a couple of weekends ago......

We might even use as a model, the Ireland Scotland game which provided so much good rugby and highlighted major errors in finishing moves.

Get all involved to watch and re-watch that game, so much to learn from it.............

(Don't watch the French English game, utter rubbish!)
