I am not sure if Carnegie have a cheque book or a contactless card, perhaps, but our rivals are convincing premiership players to play in front of their 500 crowds.

Whilst I wouldn't read to much into ealing being banded around as the potential 14 team in a extended ring fenced league, we cannot be seen to be losing ground on the other teams or lacking the desire to be in the top flight.
Signing players that are surplus in a prem team is not a guarantee they will rip up the champ. That said YC better be keeping tabs an know there competition next year as I am sure they will be.

It will be interesting to see Ealing's results, and to see whether their attendance rises. That would be more worrying for Yorkshire Carnegie's position.

Ealings stadia for the Premiership is supposedly the Brentford ground as the Trailfinders ground is:

1. Too Small
2. Not owned by Ealing but by the Trailfinders Sports Club and shared with London Broncos

I believe that Irish are looking at moving away from the Madjeski and back to London at amazingly the Brentford ground. I suspect this might pose a conundrum.

The Ealing ground is clearly unsuitable for Premiership rugby - it was the Great Western Railway sportsground, a bit similar, although bigger, to the Tetley ground in Weetwood that Leeds Rugby own. Access through a posh housing estate.
Brentwood are currently setting up a new ground, and have gained additional planning permission for professional rugby to be played there too. Suspect that LI or Ealing, whoever is the most successful, will be the eventual tenants.
