True but never underestimate the powers of Hax, who might be in the know without being bodily present.

As Monty Python (Eric Idle) said, " a nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse".

Nudge, nudge.

Well, after much deliberation, here for what it is worth are my thoughts.

My colleagues at Aintree tell me the going is very heavy, and more than ever the emphasis will be on stamina, and sound jumping.

It would be a bit of a fairytale if one on the lady jockeys were to become the first lady winner, but I wouldn't be too optimistic, (they'll probably be the first 3 home now). It is as ever a wide open race, and I'm sure that I Just Know, (number 26) trained here in Yorkshire will run a big race.

The Dutchman, (number 20) currently 20/1 might be worth a few bob each way, but for me, Anibale Fly (number 3) is the one they all have to beat. He may well go off favourite, but the horse will not know that, and he's the one that'll be getting my money.

COME ON LEEDS.
We've been through it all together.
