The U20 Championships start today in France, with England v Argentina KO at 5-30 p.m. BST.

The matches are streamed by World Rugby, with some knock-out matches on TV:

Note that the matches will be played under experimental new tackle rules to help avoid head injuries - players must be bent at the hip when making tackles.

Good luck to England

Only watched the last 20 minutes which were pretty disjointed due to replacements. Argentina had quite a few good players.

I also only was the last bit of the match.....due to a prior appointment. Disjointed play at the end but England seem to have made a good start to the competition in beating Argentina 39 -18 in Narbonne.

Next match 1530 Sunday versus Italy.

Easy 43 - 5 victory today, only sour note was our lock getting (deservedly) red-carded 5 minutes from the end for a late, high block.
Italy had the misfortune to be facing Marcus Smith, who seemed to be able to wrong-foot their rush defence with a side-step or dummy.

I watched England beat Scotland last night. I could see the Redpath effect on the Scots. They were rubbish.

Redpath always blamed the players when things went wrong. Couldn't wait to get out of rugby. Now he is back. Harsh? He has done nothing as a coach.

France beat the Baby ABs to play England in the final. What a cracker of a game it was too.

Having watched both semi-finals on ITV4 (with excellent Aussie commentators) The final, on Sunday, promises to be an absolute belter.

The French have a monster pack and superb defence plus the advantage of the home crowd. I make us the slight underdogs but expect a good game of rugby from the kids.
