It's good to play at the YMCA (slight reprise)

Didnít go as Huddersfield is a bit of a trek for me, but glad to see a win and new players seemed to feature. Bodes well for our climb to mid table safety.

Did watch the england match and was a bit confused, having watched all our matches at Headingley so far this season I was under the impression the offside law had been scrapped. Shame no-one told the TMO!

Watched the highlights of the England match.Actually the TMO got it spot on. Unfortunate from the England point of view but it is what it is. Time to move on.

Glad our boys won up at the YMCA. I hope the win will be followed up with further positive progress. No one, not even me, wants to see us propping up the Championship.

I witnessed the eng defeat but we played well. Just a few to many errors 2nd half when it mattered.

I should give credit for the thread title to Hax, who thought it up when he wrote a match report, back in the day, of a B&I Cup game at this venue, played in a blizzard.
I certainly am not clever enough to think of a better one, so thanks Martyn.

I really enjoyed YMCA traditional club experience, the match was good and YC seemed to gel with the new recruits. Notts put a weakened side out but I think that allowed YC players a bit space/time to gel. I noticed quite few Notts supporters did not come out of the club house for the second half.
