Interested to see Cole vs Corbisiero!

Wonder if Ford missing out means he'll be started on Friday?? Perhaps not. Like the look of the team, though.

Looks a very strong team and seems Cockers expects to win.

Wouldn't want to be LI when Logo and Castro make an appearance midway through the second half!

Good to see Allen back on the bench.

Wot no Ford?

Croft on the bench as well, Mafi deserves his place though.

Ford pays the price for 36 starting I assume. Billy switches to 10 if Flood has to come off.

I assume that some of the bench guys will come back in next week.

What's happened to Mickey Young? Surely his ban has finished.

Mickey's ban has finished yes but he hasn't played for about 9 weeks, YBY is first choice and Gridal is match fit and has been playing well.

Tough on Ford if he isn't injured.

Big (correct imo) call on Mafi over Croft.

Undoubtedly Tigers best team at the moment ?
Ford misses out purely as he can only provide cover for one position ?
He is unlikely to be included on our bench very often for this reason.
I too hope it means he starts next week though !

Alex will need to be on his mettle, Yarde is somewhat rapid.

Yarde won't be getting any useful ball.

I guess Ford loses out as a result of the decision to get Allen some game time from the bench - gamble taken to have 12T as 10 covereven though he starts? There's good bench strength otherwise.

Bowden at 10 for Irish - he'll be wanting to impress his future boss, no doubt. For me the real danger men are Tagicakibau and Joseph - closing them down will be important.

Four games to go and at last we put out a "first team".

No point wasting the 1st team on games before then....

Is that a Geezer law? No thread on team selection shall be complete without some dig at the Play Offs.

I hope this means that Ford will be at 10 against Worcester . We only have a 5 day turnround and suspect the lineup then will be much changed against a weaker side .Not sure about the label of 'our 1st choice side' - I think Mulipola is our best prop by some distance at the moment .

Great team, and we can also put out a cracking side for the short turn around 'easier' home game.

I'm sure George will start that, As will Croft, Kitchener, Castro, and Slates. we really do seem to be getting our best players peaking at the right time.

As for Logo, hard on him, great prospect and arguably our best prop in the loose, but I'd argue he's not our best prop in the engine room. Its a team game and the whole squad needs to play out of their skins to try and get that home tie in the semi's.

If they can, I really think some should be ready to eat a bit of humble pie.

Looks good, but alot of those players played at Ravenhill. As we get to the business end - I think Geordie needs to remind the players how bad that felt and how the fans that travelled over must have felt.

No let up in intensity from hereon in...

It's genuinely hard to argue that the week after Dan's performance at HQ that Logo is our best TH. It's a nice problem to have and he's certainly got great potential but better than Dan and Castro? Hmmmm...

On current form, I believe Logo and Castro offer more around the park than Dan.

As you say, what a great problem to have!!

And Brookes still to return from injury too.....

Yarde might be quick but he doesn't score many tries in the mans game. Only about 3 in 13, including Championship games for London Welsh.

Surprised Alex and Hamilton are picked ahead of Matt Smith who's been in stonking form, hopefully he'll get a chance in the Worcester game.
