Very well put. The spirit of that side is what we want to see. On and off the pitch. As fans we should always adopt the underdog mindset and get behind the team from the start.

Thanks Tiggs I wonder if we have lost some of that sheer belligerent refusal to accept defeat. In spite of the increased wringing of hands in the media, I don't see defeat hurting the players as much as it used to. Only my opinion

We were tireless. Indefatigable. Belligerent. Even when outskilled or outlucked we were almost never outsmashed or outhumped.

We now spend a lot of time with our hands on our hips catching our breath instead of breathing through our @rses out of sheer effort.

Agree totally mindset is vital, but if you try hard to get that extra ''up-for-it'' for evey game it negates itself .. that bit extra must be held in reserve for when it is most needed, or they will be cream crackered early doors

This pantomime; just put it .. behind you!

Well that was more like the S.A. game but still some more grit needed.

Sheer bloody mindedness and dog should be the default attitude for Tigers teams. It has not been for a few years now, they can do it for the odd match but not as a default. That is the vital ingredient that is currently missing. We saw a little more of it last night with the youngsters, which begs the question about a number of the senior players attitudes.Once we get that back as basis of all our players we will begin to dominate games again.
