Orchestrating (well, announcing) a coaching change in the days before a derby game?

I guess you guys are desperate for the underdog tag this coming weekend

I wonder what the restructuring that will allow him to focus on the playing side will be.

Presume Ged Glynn taking over more responsibility off the field, already in charge of a lot of recruitment, scouting and academy side.

Do people think Mauger has been sacked, or left because he doesn't agree with the new DOR decision whoever that is?

The wording of the press release sounds very much the latter.

The re-appointment of MOC shows just how far the Tigers Board have become detached from reality as it signals a retreat from progression in favour of a retreat back to the past. I firmly believe you should never go backwards but the Tigers board are well and truly stuck in the past. About time these dinosaurs became extinct.

TV very much voicing his displeasure on Twitter, seems the players were not adequately informed.

Again, pointing to incompetence by the board. Top down change was needed, not slicing up the middle.

What a shock. NOT!

Will not be a DOR.

Aaron was a "dead coach walking" the moment Cockers left.

There is an announcement missing. Forwards coach?

Matt's strengths are in his work with players on the training pitch - implying that the search for DOR is still ongoing ?
Was there ever an announcement that the club were searching for a new Head Coach, and when did they decide on this "exhaustive search for a new Head Coach" ?
Perhaps the new yet to be announced DOR wanted a new Head Coach ?

The club have a history of appointing a Head Coach and then promoting them to DOR in the future.

And in the meantime the Head Coach flounders under too much pressure, and work, until they have to hastily appoint a new Head Coach to assist the new DOR, who has no experience of DOR roles, and so also fails, and round we go again !
Is nothing learned ?
