Interesting line-up, hope we can get those backs some ball. Hope we don't see too much of the bench too early.

I think Croft must be injured.

Croft has a back injury as reported by fairly reliable source on Facebook.

FFS.

Reffell gets a good write up in the U18 his welsh performances as captain being very notably, him and Evans two very promising flankers.

Olowofela , Catchpole, Owen and Holmes have a chance to potentially take Tait's spot if he is out. (Maybe even smiths)

Yeah bit of a 4 way battle for a spot potentially, maybe if two of them do well we might see Joe Ford drop out of the squad but i doubt it, slightly surprised he isn't in this squad to get some more minutes actually.

Guess the worry is he might get injured also the more game time Hardwick plays the better IMO he has alot of potential.

Beaumann, Kerr and Traynor might be fighting for a front row shirt depending on McGugians and Thackers status.

A bonus of Bateman & Mulipola's versatility is that really all three front rowers, plus the bench props really, are in contention should Thacker and McGuigan be out injured.

I wouldn't mind Catchpole coming in for the London Irish game. Need to get him some game time now he is fit and healthy again to assess where he is. Could be the Smith replacement sooner than you think if he can stay fit and healthy.

Nice to Sam Lewis in there, Leicester Lions are certainly missing him.

Wasps A to play Leicester Tigers A at Welford Road

15. Owain James (Wasps Academy)
14. Alex Goble (Nottingham RFC)
13. Will Millett (Nottingham RFC)
12. Jacob Umaga (Wasps Academy)
11. Guy Armitage (Wasps)
10. Connor Eastgate (Wasps Academy)
9. Will Porter - Co Capt (Wasps Academy)
1. Alex Lundberg (Wasps)
2. Gabriel Oghre (Wasps Academy)
3. David Langley (Wasps Academy)
4. Marcus Garratt (Wasps)
5. Tim Cardall (Nottingham RFC)
6. George Cox (Nottingham RFC)
7. Will Owen (Wasps Academy Guest)
8. Tom Willis - Co Capt (Wasps Academy)

16 TJ Harris (Wasps Academy)
17 George Thornton (Wasps Academy)
18 Will Stuart (Wasps Academy)
19 Cameron Gray (Coventry RFC)
20 James Seabrook (Wasps Academy)
21 Josh Nott (Nottingham RFC)
22 James Moreton (Broadstreet RFC)
23 Josh Grimes (Nottingham RFC)

So Will Owen is with Wasps now.

Guess Evans and Hardwick have a chance to prove that they are better than Owen and Umaga directly.

It does say Wasps Academy Guest, so maybe a different category of player? Surely we've not lent him to them?

Think that is fancy term for trial.

He isn't with us.

Please correct me if there is a good reason why Wasps are picking players from Nottingham. Thought Nottingham was our catchment area for the academy. My beef with Wasps becoming travellers and encroaching into the Midlands was that it would bu33er up the academy areas as it already has for Worcs. should we complain about this encroachment?

Think Wasps have a deal with Nottingham for DR players.

Nottingham have their own academy that was setup a couple years ago so not sure about the catchment area thing.

Funny enough we are encroaching on Worcs catchment are by the sounds of it aswell.

Are the Nottingham players wasp players placed with Nottingham or are they Nottingham players recruited so that the pests can put out a team.
We had a problem placing development players with Nottingham as they were not regularly selected so instead of not playing for us they were not playing for Nottingham; the reason being that we were recalling those players for Anglo/Welsh and A league fixtures making the unavailable for Championship games. With an increase in A league fixtures the problem increases, we have hopefully solved the problem by our association with Loughborough Students who don't have Premiership ambitions.

Nottingham players recruited by pests to put out a team i believe.
Don't think any of the nottingham players have played for Notts recently.

Also congrats to former Tiger Aniseko Sio on getting a contract with Nottingham hadn't notice that.

Notts have 6 former Tigers lads in it now i think. (Farnworth, Jack, Stevens, Sio, Sutton, David Williams)
Scottish 2 (Milne, Harris)
Ealing 1 (Sears-Duru)
Bristol 1 (Hurrell)
Jersey 1 (Bryant)
Leeds 1 (Forsyth)

Think we have a few ex tigers in the ProD2 and a couple in italy.
