O’Connor asked about the potential reaction to a poor result at the weekend.
“The beauty of it is we don’t really care. It’s all about the four walls of our environment. We owe it to the people in the changing room to deliver a performance”
Poor choice of words IMO. This will explode

MOC was asked whether he feels we are in a "no-win situation against Irish" this weekend.
Everyone at Tigers, including MOC, cares about what supporters think and about winning, but outside critics do not put us under more pressure to win than we do ourselves.
How many times in the past have the club had to officially step in to "clarify" the words of a Head Coach/DOR?
Poor choice of words by MO`C and has created an issue where there was not prior to his iteration.
He might very well be, but who knows? As I said. Poor choice of words, badly communicated.
Emotions are running high, and he’s in la la land if he doesn’t see or know that. All this has done is added fuel to the fire, even if it was unintentional. If we lose, this will go South at a rate of knots.
The trouble is that those who constantly take against MOC will always look to paint any comments in the worst light. Much like I do with certain politicians. Say nothing and get criticised, say anything and get criticised for bland media platitudes or for interpretation.
