We are off and running. G.B. looking for a record haul of medals. Christie might do it on her own, she has the speed and the will, if she can get the technique right

Really not that interested but if it becomes a mechanism to bring north and south closer together then all for that.

Some of the sport is fantastic. Some isn't sport. And short-track speed-skating is so utterly random and arbitrary that it isn't worth bothering with.

The various sliding events and ice-hockey are fantastic.

It seems the fat one has invited the S.K. President to meet him.Which is good as long as they can keep the Americans out of it

Well being as the vice-idiot is refusing to accept that the Koreans might want to deal with their own business without the idiots involvement...

More random nonsense. Short track is no more a sport than coin tossing. It is entirely governed by random events and the officiating makes that of our sport seem positively transparent. There is no basis on which to continue supporting it with further funding.

I'm sure she's very upset. But it's still a rubbish excuse for a sport.

Well Christie went flying (off the track) but Yarnold & Deas flew did us proud in the Great British sport of sliding downhill on your mamís tea tray, albeit with a few refinements that have been introduced.

I have difficulty when a sliding event is won by hundredths of a second, but have to admit I was riveted by that run of Yarnold.

But all spoilt by Baldthing's super-gush.
