Poor Cockers they are laughing at him.... (Only reason cockers is also laughing is because he doesn't want to feel awkward)

Cockers departed on friendly terms which was very obvious at the time.

Cockers didn't throw a hissy fit like Deano?

It was a 'Fab' night. Cockers was brilliant but it wasn't the only highlight. M.J. as you have never seen him before, completely relaxed and humerous. Matt Poole was his usual brilliant self. Doddie started the evening off, I don't know how much of an effort it was for him but he was laughing and we laughed with him, from the start. He left at the same time as us and he was still laughing then. 21,000+ went to his fund from the auction alone.
At the end the 'Dosser' stole the show with what it meant to be a Tiger, player, coach or fan.
The meal was great, if the longest I have ever had. We had the starter at 8.00, the Main at 9.00 the pud at 10.00 and the coffee at 11.00. I did speak to 'Oz', if it wasn't for his shattered knee, he still looks good enough to play a good game. MOC came into the 'Gents' at one point with his phone buzzing, I said , if it's Cipriani, tell him he is a good player but he isn't quite our fit, did I do right?
One thing that did come over during the evening was the collective bitterness they still feel about the pt. in 1996.

I'm still bitter about it too. One of the great rugby injustices.

Hello everyone, not been here for a while. The evening was quite stunning given the attendance of veteran players. I spoke to some but there was never enough time given the joy in the room of old friends meeting again. 'twas a one off and I'm a very lucky ordinary fan of more than forty years. It meant a lot............xx
