Doesnít sound good, but as with Manuís contretemps worth waiting to hear the other side before leaping to final judgement??

Always innocent until proven guilty. However, Manu had no priors for drunken shenanigans, Danny-boy has plenty.

St. Helier is such a laid back place (or it was a few years ago when I spent loads of time there), and the police are too, he must have been a real ar$e to get himself locked up. There aren't that many cells on the Island.

And last time I was in there, Chambers was a pleasant place to be. (Making an assumption there.)

Danny must tried really hard to achieve what he has. At least no buses were damaged this time!

Think he needs to walk into the path of a much larger bus next time to knock some sense into him once and for all.
He's surpassing the Orange One for being a fechwhit wasting his talents

"Sources have told Sportsmail that the player is claiming he was merely placing a hand on the officer's shoulder while trying to argue his case".
I presume his lawyer knows that's pretty much the legal definition of assault? (and what Manu got done for).

Some people become @rs3h0les when they have a beer. I suspect Danny is one. A real pity.

Sounds like nicking a glass or similar and then acting up with increasing arsiness when told to put it back?

Given the slew of abuse that rained down on Manu after his run-in I assume we'll be hearing the same here?

It sounds to me as if it might be quite similar in some ways. Silly boy - shouldn't have done it but probably didn't go wild as implied by the headlines.

God I loathe the pond-sc6m that pass themselves off a journalists.

Agreed but they are not journalists they are propagandists for their owners and editors.

Who schedules or allows a drink a few days before the season?
Jeez
Not sure if the club is as misguided as the players may have been.

Having said that, seems blown up and 2k is about right
for not learning that cameras and stories are everywhere for people in the public domain?

Seems he tried the old 'you don't know who you are dealing with' trick but he will be ok if he engages Stokes's lawyer PDQ!.
