Probably symptomatic of all of the instructions coming from the coaches when MOC was in charge ? GM will possibly let them use their heads more, but it might take time?

Really?

So let me get this right - there was no plan when MOC had us kicking the ball away against Ex - so Geordan takes over and against Newcastle there is a clear change of approach and we keep the ball in hand - perhaps excessively - be we score quite a lot of tries and win - and everyone thinks 'hmmm - I can see a plan (but how many missed tackles)'. Fast forward two weeks and we do exactly the same against Worcester - and now there's no plan?

Come on - listen to yourself!

The problem isn't a lack of a plan - though it might be that it's the wrong plan (or at least it's one that needs adjusting) - it's that we can't defend! Which has been the case for the last three weeks! Nothing changed this week!

As for a lack of leadership - so Johnny May's decisions - good and bad - weren't him taking responsibility? George's performance wasn't him taking responsibility? They aren't examples of leadership?

Honestly the group hysteria on here has gone beyond a joke.

Desperation to want the team to be better usually causes this sort of thing - it's not a surprise. At least we only have one poster who literally couldn't have fun if their life depended upon it.

Jonny May's "restart cock up" involved us kicking the ball out around the half way line.

Okay, probably 10m short of where Ford would have aimed had he stayed closer to the touch lines, and that would probably have affected Worcester's tactics, but hardly a terrible match-losing outcome.

The fact they carved us open from the set piece and then just recycled the ball round the corner until they scored is a separate issue and much more worrying for me.

Regards "plan" no plan ever involves conceding 40+ points, so in as much as the early game didn't go to plan leading us to a situation that I cannot really believe we practice for (26 points down at home with half an hour remaining) there was "no plan" but there cannot be in those circumstances.

Can someonea appraise me of the plan in the first half against Worcester, because i saw none, I saw heads down from the get go , I saw individual acts, not folowed up or supported by others , both in possession (kick it away with no pressure applied to the oppo`s reciever) no latchimg on to support the ball carrier going into contact and in defence one up takling , slow to the ruck, defensive line uncoordinated and marshalled.
