Was definitely one of the lost generation that we just didn't trust when we should have. Not that I'm arguing for bringing him back particularly, I think we need more "dominant" types to change our culture, but he's the classic Exeter signing of player who was highly rated youth who has not come through as expected but has a terrific frame for rugby and high potential who will likely improve in their environment.

I remember him as a tall but lightweight young man. Again the problem is when a guy reaches 21/22 if they are not pushing for first team what do you do with them, retain them and they will not get the game time they need to develop and will just be in the way of the next tier of youngsters. Price has probably had more match appearances at Scarlets than he would have done with us, hopefully he has filled out since he left otherwise I can't see him being an Exeter type player.
