This has been mentioned on another thread but probably deserves it's own we have made our plans to welcome Toulon supporters and hope you can join us. Everyone welcome if possible for Friday night let us know if you are coming so we don't run out of curry! here's our FB posts
Ok you've been waiting for this.. many have asked how we could return the hospitality shown in Toulon, making that one of best trips ever. Well we are going to try and it's coming in 2 parts.
Firstly Friday night 20th January. We know Laetitia and a merry band of 20+ Les Fadas are in town. So we have invited them to the Fez Club for the evening they will be given a tour of the memorabilia on display in the East Stand, the Montpelier v Saints will be on screen (that way we can all support the same side 😂winking smiley and the bar will be open and a Curry available to buy.
You'll shortly hear about another event that evening which ties in.
We want to give the Club an idea of numbers so will set up a Facebook event but you can also leave a reply here or email the usual address. Let's make this a special night for them.
So, Toulon the rematch! Saturday 21st January. Part Deux. We don't have a roundabout but we do have an Olympic Bar.
For the first time ever the Club will mark off an area in the bar for the SSA to welcome Les Fadas at the North (sandpit) End of the Bar. We will have the beer tent that's normally there to serve us refreshments and this will be the focal point for meeting our French Friends.
We will have Sarrie popping in and out and hope to arrange some special photo opportunities to share with Les Fadas and possibly play some games. We will be asking the band to play some suitable ditties for a good sing along.
We want to see as many of you there it'll be a cold January day but we want to give our French friends a warm glow even in defeat 😂. Let us know below if you will be joining us.
