Confirmed on Twitter that his head has returned 'to normal'. 'Hopefully back on the pitch next season'

Following some of the comments that I've seen on here after the last few months, I think that we can all agree that this is very good news.

Excellent news. Really promising player, but regardless of that it's fantastic news that he'll be able to continue his career in rugby.

Definitely nice to hear some news about someone coming back from injury after what we (and England!) have been facing

This is great news. I'd heard from someone close to squad that there were grave doubts as to Matt's chances of playing again. Main thing is to make sure he's fully recovered and fit to return.

I'm not sure what Matt's current 'status' is but this is a compelling and revealing video

Poor chap. I hope he gets the right sort of therapy to help him through. Unfortunately there's a lot of this about.

Very brave of Matt to be as honest as he has been in the clip, just demonstrates how devastating the condition he suffered from can be.
Let us hope that his recovery is full and he can return to show his obvious potential to the full, but not at the expense of his health.

Very much agree with tpr headmistress observations

Good luck to Matt.

Hopefully he will become the Jackal in the Wolfpack in future seasons.

A more promising scenario than some of the current Hounds we have amongst our spectators...

Great news; I have real hope that Matt is going to be another star for us.

Welcome back Matt and many congratulations on having the bravery to make that video.
