Good article, another good one here if you have a premium account, you can get it free if you register (not sure anyone really pays).

Very good article. Very interesting analysis.

Has Neil Francis been very quiet this week or is it just that no one has linked to his "articles"?

I picked up a copy of the Irish Independent on the 'plane home from Dublin.

According to the ever-perceptive Francis (in bemoaning the performance of Duncan Williams) left-footed scrum-halves struggle with the accuracy of their box-kicks. Evidently it completely escaped him what foot the winning scrum-half kicks with!

Here's the article. No egregious falsehoods this time, but plenty of sly digs:

Don't you just love " I have very little time for Saracens or their owner or the style of rugby they play" yet he loves the Munster style olf play?

the other articles in the Independent are mostly flattering to Saracens - especially to McCall

I took a lovely train out to Howth on the Sunday after the game and took the chance to read most of the Irish papers' sports sections. They love McCall, and are happy to give him all the praise for moulding our current squad.

With Leo Cullen so new to coaching, while Rassie Erasmus, Les Kiss and Pat Lam are all non-Irish, he's very much a front runner for the next time they are looking for a national coach.

Hopefully Joe Schmidt will keep the position for another decade or so, and let us keep on with Mark!

this is a fabulous analysis - and really talks to the strength and conditioning coaches for the awesome fitness of our boys

Excellent - +1, DF

As for the Francis article - very mean-spirited.
