Brits retiring end of season

The 36-year-old South African, who says he will retire from rugby at the end of the season, was again involved in the build-up to try five as he showed his skills before timing a pass perfectly for Maitland to go over for his second.

And so my last season of rugby starts. Can't wait to share the pitch with friends. #letsmakememories

that try was almost the ultimate try - three or four passes from the kick off to Maitland in

Smally said last season was meant to be his last, but they got him to change his mind. Hopefully he'll change it again!

I'll of course be gutted the day he hangs up his boots, but better to go when you're still picking up MOTM awards and scoring wonder tries!

I will be keeping the user-name regardless...

I liked the way Wiggy was trying to get him to stay on as he didn't want to be the old man in the squad
