"A lot of Clermont supporters. A lot of noisy, flag-waving, face-painted Clermont supporters." So the ASM Club President was unaware that not all the away had gone home the same as he was not aware that Saracens are not responsible for clearing the snow on surrounding streets and that the Stoop only had a light sprinkling of snow. Make it sound that anything he said should be taken with a pinch of salt!

Good report DG.

Unfortunately player injuries restrict mark McCall's room for manoeuvre; however if fully fit I would start Nathan Earle and Nick Tompkins on Sunday 17th Dec at the Stade Marcel Michelin.

Clermont played extremely well, and Raka was outstanding.

Nevertheless the warning signs were there in the Ospreys game; Saracens need to sort out their apparent vulnerability to opposition counter-attacking at pace, against the unpredictable in broken play when it is not so easy to set and reset your defence.

Saracens backs cannot always leave everything up to Brad Barritt to sort out when adversity occurs....Brad cannot play every minute of every game as much as he'd like to!
