wheels broken

Why oh why are saracens unable to keep the wheels on the truck, is it that we have become predictable and have been figured out.?
With more and more teams adopting the same or very similar tactics or plans games are becoming a tacklefest or midfield slug and bash. NOT VERY EXCITING.!!!

Wheels would fall off any truck if half the bolts were missing.

Internationals/injuries have decimated us over the last few months.

I would take our full strength team against any other team in Europe.

As I stated on a previous thread fate has taken a hand and nothing can stop that.

Not sure this is the sort of thread we need to be starting after a good performance in Clermont most saracens supporters would say we put a great shift in & were happy with effort if one or two decisions plus a kick that went wrong side of flag had bounced our way we would be happy now!!
I agree with a full side out we will beat any of European or English sides
Its been a tricky 6/7 weeks but we are on right road smiling smiley

If ever the words "keep the faith" were needed it is now. For those who have longevity in support for the MiB - let's say 10 - 15 years, these "wobbles" are irrelevant. For new supporters who have only tasted success all I can say is "keep the faith"

Stuff is cyclical that's all.

We will bounce back very soon IMHO

The extenuating circumstances of unavailable players and the manner of your performance against Clermont lead me to the conclusion that it is far too early to suggest a descent. Now if you could see your way to losing to us Tigers on Sunday and letting us score 4 or more tries I'd happily reconsider. Can't see it happening though!

Sorry Stopsy Saracens are due a win.. and also after a double header defeat tigers are there for the taking... At the end of the day two teams looking to bounce back it will be an exciting and excellent game up at Welford Road nothing like a festive fixture with added punch...

Such nonsense talking about the wheels being broken.

Of the five games we lost (nobody gives a f*** about the LV Cup, it's only included to make newspaper headlines more sensational), three of them were extremely difficult away games against Clermont, Quins and Glaws, and we lost all three by a very slim margin, leading for large portions going into the final minutes. We also lost a home game against the prem champions during the international window.

Our record last year in those three prem games was lost two drew one so hardly a step back from last year.

Nobody goes to Clermont and wins.

That leaves just one game, the Clermont home game. That was a disaster, but to me was a case of us having an off day and them having an on day.

We won the double in the same year we lost by 60 points to Wasps.

Crisis? What Crisis?

FFS people...

Nothing broken except some key players. Not enough credit always given to the opposition. Glaws, Exeter and particularly Quins all raised their game. Clermont were always going to be very tough having lost to us in the final.

For the rest of this season, Sarries players all have a target nailed on their shirts. It reads: "We're the champions of Europe, and we can be beaten." Every remaining game this season will be against pumped-up opposition. To be a great side, Sarries will get over it. We may win nothing this year, but even great sides don't win major silverware every year. Whatever, in big Europe or not, I'll still be there with my season ticket in September.

Prior to the Wray/Lynagh years, Sarries used to vacillate between the bottom of the top flight and the top end of level 2.

We would travel to home games expecting to lose and away games knowing we were going to lose (unless the opponents were insolvent!).

Those were the days. The current run doesn't trouble me at all - though it would be good if they brought back the watering cans for comfort!
